Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Intervention Pasolini, Italie - 1987 by Ernest Pignon-Ernest was sold in the Twenty One Contemporary auction at Artcurial in December this year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,610.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ernest Pignon-Ernest - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work David Et Goliath, 1990, which sold at auction in February 2014 for EUR 26,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Intervention Pasolini, Italie - 1987 von Ernest Pignon-Ernest wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Twenty One Contemporary bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.610,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ernest Pignon-Ernest mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit David Et Goliath, 1990 beobachtet, die im Februar 2014 für EUR 26.000,00 versteigert wurde.
