Auction result well in line with expectations
In October last year Artcurial held the auction Prints & Multiples Online, which included the work Derrière La Vitre - 1997 by Ernest Pignon-Ernest. It changed hands for a price of EUR 213.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 180.00 – 220.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Pignon-Ernest achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work David Et Goliath, 1990 in February 2014 with an auction result of EUR 26,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Prints & Multiples Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Derrière La Vitre - 1997 von Ernest Pignon-Ernest zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 213,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 180,00 – 220,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Pignon-Ernest erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit David Et Goliath, 1990 im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 26.000,00.
