The work Red Rooftops by Ernest Lawson was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2019. It achieved a price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 31,392.95), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Lawson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Melting Snow in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 335,863.81).

Die Arbeit Red Rooftops von Ernest Lawson kam im Mai 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 31.392,95) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Lawson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Melting Snow im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 292.000,00 (€ 335.863,81).
