The price achieved of USD 37,800.00 (€ 32,189.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Lawson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Melting Snow in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 292,000.00 (€ 335,863.81).
