Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Brussa, Turkey by Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner. The price achieved of GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,593.30) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work View Across the Golden Horn, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque beyond, Constantinople in October 2015 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 134,939.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Brussa, Turkey von Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.593,30) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernst Karl Eugen Koerner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit View Across the Golden Horn, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque beyond, Constantinople im Oktober 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 134.939,32).
