In June 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction The Russian Sale, which included the work Study for Nonstop by Erik Bulatov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,287.50 (€ 9,657.09), 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Bulatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glory to the CPSU in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,084,500.00 (€ 1,418,483.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Russian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Study for Nonstop von Erik Bulatov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.287,50 (€ 9.657,09) und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Bulatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glory to the CPSU im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.084.500,00 (€ 1.418.483,44).
