In September 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online, which included the work Revolution - Perestroika by Erik Bulatov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,388.49), 26% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erik Bulatov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Glory to the CPSU in February 2008 with an auction result of GBP 1,084,500.00 (€ 1,418,483.44).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Escape Artists – The Non-Conformists Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Revolution - Perestroika von Erik Bulatov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.388,49) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erik Bulatov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Glory to the CPSU im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.084.500,00 (€ 1.418.483,44).
