Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Kennington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trees at the Somme in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 73,095.75).

Die Arbeit Female Nude von Eric Kennington kam im Mai 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.775,27) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Kennington erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Trees at the Somme im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 73.095,75).
