This artwork by Eric Kennington achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in June 2021. In the The Male Form auction, the work An Infantryman sold for GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,313.64) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Eric Kennington have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trees at the Somme in October 2007 with an auction result of GBP 50,900.00 (€ 73,095.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Eric Kennington erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Male Form wurde die Arbeit An Infantryman für GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.313,64) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Eric Kennington auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trees at the Somme im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 50.900,00 (€ 73.095,75).
