A top price for Eric Ho Kay-Nam

In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Taihang Gorge by Eric Ho Kay-Nam. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,736.84), 53% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Taihang Gorge the most expensive artwork by Eric Ho Kay-Nam that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Taihang Gorge von Eric Ho Kay-Nam zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.736,84) und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieses hohe Ergebnis macht Taihang Gorge zu dem teuersten Kunstwerk von Eric Ho Kay-Nam, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
