Auction result well in line with expectations
The work HKID - Jesus in Temple by Eric Ho Kay-Nam was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2018. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,643.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eric Ho Kay-Nam - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Taihang Gorge, which sold at auction in May 2019 for HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,736.84).

Die Arbeit HKID - Jesus in Temple von Eric Ho Kay-Nam kam im November 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.643,38) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eric Ho Kay-Nam mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Taihang Gorge beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für HKD 137.500,00 (€ 15.736,84) versteigert wurde.
