The work Journey of Rocks 12 by Eric Ho Kay-Nam was sold in the Chinese Contemporary Ink auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2017. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,418.65), 43% above the upper estimate. Other works by Eric Ho Kay-Nam have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of HKD 137,500.00 (€ 15,736.84) in May 2019 for the work Taihang Gorge.
