In June 2020 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work "Duo/Dido and Aeneas" by Eric Grate. The result of SEK 50,000.00 (€ 4,781.41) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eric Grate achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Silvatica" in December 2012 with an auction result of SEK 1,600,000.00 (€ 186,379.49).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2020 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Duo/Dido and Aeneas" von Eric Grate zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 50.000,00 (€ 4.781,41) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eric Grate erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Silvatica" im Dezember 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 1.600.000,00 (€ 186.379,49).
