This work without title by Eric Freeman was worth USD 27,400.00 (€ 17,336.29) to a buyer in March 2008. This price was achieved in the auction Under the Influence at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Eric Freeman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Red Inside Green (Happiness) sold at auction in May 2010 with the realized price of USD 27,500.00 (€ 22,233.00).
