Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ercole Pignatelli achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Milan in November 2006. In the Post war and Contemporary Art auction, the work Paesaggio Nel Frutto sold for EUR 8,680.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ercole Pignatelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vaso rosso, which sold at auction in May 2007 for EUR 19,840.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ercole Pignatelli erzielte im November 2006 bei Christies in Mailand einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post war and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Paesaggio Nel Frutto für EUR 8.680,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ercole Pignatelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vaso rosso beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für EUR 19.840,00 versteigert wurde.
