Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2002 a collector was able to acquire the work Natura morta by Ercole Pignatelli for EUR 2,480.00. This price was achieved in the auction ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA at Christies in Milan and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ercole Pignatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vaso rosso in May 2007 with an auction result of EUR 19,840.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2002 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Natura morta von Ercole Pignatelli für EUR 2.480,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion ARTE MODERNA E CONTEMPORANEA bei Christies in Mailand erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ercole Pignatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vaso rosso im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.840,00.
