In June 2007 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Sale, which included the work Movimiento espacial by Enio Iommi. The result of USD 12,000.00 (€ 8,875.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Enio Iommi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 32,450.00 (€ 39,017.47).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Movimiento espacial von Enio Iommi zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 12.000,00 (€ 8.875,74) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Enio Iommi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Untitled, 1949 (from the 'Interrupted Continuity' series im Juli 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.450,00 (€ 39.017,47).
