Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Women with dogs" (Kvinnor med hundar) by Endre Nemes was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 85,000.00 (€ 8,053.36) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Endre Nemes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Musiklektionen II" (The music lesson II), which sold at auction in May 2011 for SEK 250,000.00 (€ 28,137.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit "Women with dogs" (Kvinnor med hundar) von Endre Nemes wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 85.000,00 (€ 8.053,36) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Endre Nemes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Musiklektionen II" (The music lesson II) beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für SEK 250.000,00 (€ 28.137,17) versteigert wurde.
