Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Adapted from B. Gozzoli" by Endre Nemes was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 18,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,463.19). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Endre Nemes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Musiklektionen II" (The music lesson II) in May 2011 with an auction result of SEK 250,000.00 (€ 28,137.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Adapted from B. Gozzoli" von Endre Nemes im November 2021 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 18.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.463,19) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Endre Nemes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Musiklektionen II" (The music lesson II) im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 250.000,00 (€ 28.137,17).
