Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work French nus Au Bois by Emmanuel Benner. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,875.00 (€ 16,510.94) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emmanuel Benner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work At The Water'S Edge, which sold at auction in December 2003 for GBP 35,850.00 (€ 50,776.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit French nus Au Bois von Emmanuel Benner zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.875,00 (€ 16.510,94) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emmanuel Benner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit At The Water'S Edge beobachtet, die im Dezember 2003 für GBP 35.850,00 (€ 50.776,83) versteigert wurde.
