A top price for Emmanuel Benner - as previously expected
In December 2003 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work At The Water'S Edge by Emmanuel Benner. The price achieved of GBP 35,850.00 (€ 50,776.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, At The Water'S Edge is the most expensive artwork by Emmanuel Benner that we have observed at auctions so far.

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.850,00 (€ 50.776,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden.
