The work Purbeck Freestone Warrior by Emily Young was sold in the (Women) Artists auction at Sothebys in London in May 2021. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 40,320.00 (€ 46,913.25), 34% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Time Boy in June this year with an auction result of GBP 478,800.00 (€ 557,240.77).

Die Arbeit Purbeck Freestone Warrior von Emily Young wurde im Mai 2021 in der Auktion (Women) Artists bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 40.320,00 (€ 46.913,25) und damit 34% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emily Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Time Boy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 478.800,00 (€ 557.240,77).
