This artwork by Emily Young achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Modern British Art auction, the work Bronze Poet Warrior sold for GBP 21,420.00 (€ 25,149.10) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Time Boy in June this year with an auction result of GBP 478,800.00 (€ 557,240.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Emily Young erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British Art wurde die Arbeit Bronze Poet Warrior für GBP 21.420,00 (€ 25.149,10) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emily Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Time Boy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 478.800,00 (€ 557.240,77).
