The work Purbeck Angel by Emily Young was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2021. It achieved a price of GBP 22,680.00 (€ 26,628.45), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Young achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Time Boy in June this year with an auction result of GBP 478,800.00 (€ 557,240.77).

Die Arbeit Purbeck Angel von Emily Young kam im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 22.680,00 (€ 26.628,45) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emily Young erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Time Boy im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 478.800,00 (€ 557.240,77).
