This artwork by Emily Young achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in September 2021. In the Blazing a TrailModern British Women auction, the work Poet Warrior sold for GBP 131,500.00 (€ 153,002.07) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Emily Young - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Time Boy, which sold at auction in June this year for GBP 478,800.00 (€ 557,240.77).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Emily Young erzielte im September 2021 bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Blazing a TrailModern British Women wurde die Arbeit Poet Warrior für GBP 131.500,00 (€ 153.002,07) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Emily Young mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Time Boy beobachtet, die im Juni diesen Jahres für GBP 478.800,00 (€ 557.240,77) versteigert wurde.
