Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Emily Kame Kngwarreye was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in November 2020. The price achieved of GBP 5,292.00 (€ 5,907.66) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Kame Kngwarreye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Summer Celebration in December 2019 with an auction result of USD 596,000.00 (€ 530,863.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Emily Kame Kngwarreye wurde im November 2020 in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.292,00 (€ 5.907,66) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emily Kame Kngwarreye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Summer Celebration im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 596.000,00 (€ 530.863,10).
