Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of CAD 140,500.00 (€ 108,739.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 125,000.00 – 175,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emily Carr achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Skedans in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 3,260,000.00 (€ 2,958,526.18).
