Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction European & British Art, which included the work View of the Watermills at Alcalá de Guadaíra by Emilio Sánchez Perrier. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 9,017.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emilio Sánchez Perrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion European & British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of the Watermills at Alcalá de Guadaíra von Emilio Sánchez Perrier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.560,00 (€ 9.017,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Sánchez Perrier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
