Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Bonhams held the auction Home & InteriorsCollections, which included the work A couple in a punt along the banks of a river by Emilio Sánchez Perrier. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 7,012.50 (€ 6,351.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emilio Sánchez Perrier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Home & InteriorsCollections durch, in der auch die Arbeit A couple in a punt along the banks of a river von Emilio Sánchez Perrier zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 7.012,50 (€ 6.351,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emilio Sánchez Perrier erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
