Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work The River At Alcalà by Emilio Sánchez Perrier for USD 13,750.00 (€ 12,332.94). This price was achieved in the auction 19th Century European Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Emilio Sánchez Perrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
