Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2018 Christies in New York held the auction European Art: Part II, which included the work On the Pond by Emilio Sánchez Perrier. Here, the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,752.21). Admittedly, works by Emilio Sánchez Perrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2018 führte Christies in New York die Auktion European Art: Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit On the Pond von Emilio Sánchez Perrier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.752,21) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Sánchez Perrier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
