Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2017 Christies in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Huerto en Sevilla by Emilio Sánchez Perrier. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,024.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Emilio Sánchez Perrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2017 führte Christies in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Huerto en Sevilla von Emilio Sánchez Perrier zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 20.024,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Sánchez Perrier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
