Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction 19th Century European Paintings, which included the work A Quiet River by Emilio Sánchez Perrier. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,351.75) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Emilio Sánchez Perrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance in May 2011 with an auction result of USD 122,500.00 (€ 85,211.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 19th Century European Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Quiet River von Emilio Sánchez Perrier zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 12.351,75) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Emilio Sánchez Perrier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spanish at The Mouth Of The Grand Canal, Santa Maria Della Salute In The Distance im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 122.500,00 (€ 85.211,46).
