Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Emiliano di Cavalcanti could be acquired at Christies in New York in May 2016 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Untitled (Two Women) changed hands for USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,103.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Emiliano di Cavalcanti konnte im Mai 2016 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin American Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (Two Women) für USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.103,28) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.323.751,89).
