Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Two Figures) by Emiliano di Cavalcanti was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in November 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,651.39) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Two Figures) von Emiliano di Cavalcanti wurde im November 2015 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.651,39) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen.
