Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Mother And Child by Emiliano di Cavalcanti. The price achieved of USD 93,750.00 (€ 88,761.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emiliano di Cavalcanti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,575,000.00 (€ 1,323,751.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mother And Child von Emiliano di Cavalcanti zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 88.761,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Emiliano di Cavalcanti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Reclining Nude With Fish And Fruit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.575.000,00 (€ 1.323.751,89).
