The work 'Ombelles De La Lorraine' Table Top by Émile Gallé was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2012. The auction ended at the price of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,868.93), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile Gallé achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vase in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 32,500.00.

Die Arbeit 'Ombelles De La Lorraine' Table Top von Émile Gallé kam im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.868,93) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile Gallé erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vase im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 32.500,00.
