A top price for Emile Seeldrayers - as previously expected
In April 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work An artist's studio by Emile Seeldrayers. The price achieved of EUR 2,987.50 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, An artist's studio is the most expensive artwork by Emile Seeldrayers that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im April 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit An artist's studio von Emile Seeldrayers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.987,50 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist An artist's studio das teuerste Kunstwerk von Emile Seeldrayers, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
