Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Emile Seeldrayers could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2004 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures, Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Red, Pink And White Carnations changed hands for EUR 59.75 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emile Seeldrayers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work An artist's studio in April 2002 with an auction result of EUR 2,987.50.
