In the Old Masters: Part II auction, the work The Choir Of The New Church, Amsterdam, With Figures changed hands for USD 35,000.00 (€ 30,591.73) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Emanuel de Witte achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Interior of the Oude Kerk, Amsterdam, with a trompe l'oeil curtain and frame in December 2021 with an auction result of GBP 500,000.00 (€ 596,395.12).
