This work without title by Elsa Gramcko was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2009. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,000.00 (€ 17,697.86), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Elsa Gramcko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No. 10 in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 113,698.38).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Elsa Gramcko wurde im Mai 2009 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.000,00 (€ 17.697,86) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elsa Gramcko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No. 10 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 113.698,38).
