This artwork by Elsa Gramcko achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2012. In the Latin American Art auction, the work Sin Título sold for USD 59,375.00 (€ 48,022.48) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elsa Gramcko - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work No. 10, which sold at auction in May 2015 for USD 125,000.00 (€ 113,698.38).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elsa Gramcko erzielte im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde die Arbeit Sin Título für USD 59.375,00 (€ 48.022,48) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Elsa Gramcko mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit No. 10 beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für USD 125.000,00 (€ 113.698,38) versteigert wurde.
