Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Elsa Gramcko could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Latin America: Modern Art auction, the work Sin Título changed hands for USD 13,750.00 (€ 13,018.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Elsa Gramcko have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work No. 10 in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 113,698.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Elsa Gramcko konnte im November 2015 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Latin America: Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Sin Título für USD 13.750,00 (€ 13.018,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Elsa Gramcko auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit No. 10 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 113.698,38).
