Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with exotic fruit by Eloise Harriet Stannard was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in March last year. The price achieved of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,314.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Eloise Harriet Stannard - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Apples, a pineapple and black grapes in a basket, beside an upturned basket with a pear, plums, redcurrants, a peach, white grapes and a butterfly on a wooden ledge, which sold at auction in November 2002 for GBP 20,315.00 (€ 31,812.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life with exotic fruit von Eloise Harriet Stannard wurde im März letzten Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.314,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Eloise Harriet Stannard mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Apples, a pineapple and black grapes in a basket, beside an upturned basket with a pear, plums, redcurrants, a peach, white grapes and a butterfly on a wooden ledge beobachtet, die im November 2002 für GBP 20.315,00 (€ 31.812,24) versteigert wurde.
