The work Land of the Dusky Sow by Elizabeth Magill was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2017. It achieved a price of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,297.53), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Elizabeth Magill; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Heartland sold at auction in October 2015 with the realized price of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 55,950.01).

Die Arbeit Land of the Dusky Sow von Elizabeth Magill kam im März 2017 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 29.297,53) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Elizabeth Magill; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Heartland im Oktober 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 55.950,01).
