Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Australian Seascape by Elioth Gruner was auctioned at Sothebys in Melbourne in August 2009. It changed hands for a price of AUD 14,400.00 (€ 8,466.04) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of AUD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elioth Gruner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Mingoola Valley in May 2007 with an auction result of AUD 150,000.00 (€ 92,232.22).
