Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Standing Female Figure by Elie Nadelman was sold in the American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 67,500.00 (€ 59,613.18). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Elie Nadelman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Horse in May 2012 with an auction result of USD 842,500.00 (€ 681,413.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Standing Female Figure von Elie Nadelman wurde im November 2018 in der Auktion American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 67.500,00 (€ 59.613,18) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Elie Nadelman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Horse im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 842.500,00 (€ 681.413,78).
