The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 600,000.00 – 800,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 644,000.00 (€ 577,630.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Elie Nadelman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2012 the work Horse was auctioned for USD 842,500.00 (€ 681,413.78).
