In the Victorian, Pre-Raphaelite & British Impressionist Art, Maritime Art, Sporting & Wildlife Art auction, the work The paddock at Deauville sold for GBP 9,750.00 (€ 11,426.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Elie Lambert; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Deauville, Clairefontaine sold at auction in December 2015 with the realized price of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,974.40).
