The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,859.51), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Elie Lambert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Deauville, Clairefontaine, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 16,974.40).
